A very comprehensive strategic marketing campaign has been put together to attract the presence of key decision makers and buyers from across the region.
1. Newspapers
A host of advertisements will be placed in top local newspapers including New Straits Times, The Star, Berita Harian, Sin Chew Daily, Nanyang Siang Pau etc.
2. Technical Trade Journals & Directories
Advertisements, editorial coverage and visitor ticket insertions will be placed in major trade journals from all over the world.
3. Personal Visits
Personal visits by key personnel to all the major food, beverage & hospitality companies will be done to encourage their top management to visit the show.
4. VVIP’s
A VVIP will be invited to officiate the exhibition and thereafter for a tour. A host of other Ministers will also be extended invitations to tour the exhibition.
5. VIP Programme
Exhibitors are invited to nominate their key clients as VIPs for the show.
6. Mail Shots
Email shots will be done to some 100,000 individuals comprising potential visitors for FHM 2009.
7. Email broadcasts
Four rounds of email broadcasts will be done for the visitor pre-registration campaign whereby potential visitors are invited to pre-register their attendance via the website.
8. Sms broadcasts
A string of SMS broadcasts will be done as forms of reminders to the pre-registered visitors closer to the show.
9. Visitor invitations
Each contracted exhibitor will be given 100 visitor invitations free to be distributed to their clients and customers.
10. Press activities
To support and enhance the advertisements in the newspapers, a host of press releases carrying latest updates about the show will be issued to the local and foreign press. One-on-one interviews will also be conducted with selected key exhibitors as part of the publicity campaign.
11. Visits To Other Food & Hotel Shows
The Sales & Marketing team will also visit and in some cases exhibit in other major Food & Hotel shows around the world to further boost the show’s publicity to the food, beverage & hospitality sectors.
12. Show Dailies
A total of 4 issues will be produced during the show to give exhibitors one final publicity push as these show dailies carrying product highlights will be distributed at the Visitor registrations counters as well as to all VIPs.
